DescriptionCircular plate with wide rim turned up as edge and applied in high crisp relief with four floral sprays resembling cherry or prunus blossoms; reverse with foot ring. Anchor in relief on medallion applied to center reverse.Label TextThree plates of the prunus pattern are recorded to date in museum collections: the Colonial Williamsburg example, one in the British Museum, and another in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
