DescriptionMolded, soft-paste porcelain sauceboat. The shape of the sauceboat resembles a leaf. It is raised on four short feet. Three of the feet are decorated with a leaf molded in relief and painted with green, yellow, and purple enamels. The fourth foot is painted with purple enamel. Four vines start from this purple foot, three terminate in leaves and one terminates in a small strawberry. There are two orange flowers molded in relief on the reverse of the sauceboat. There is hand-painted decoration of flowers on the exterior sides. The clusters of flowers vary in size and color. At the bottom of the inside there is one blue flower and a cluster of orange flowers. The handle is molded to resemble a twig. It is painted with green enamel and fades to yellow. The upper terminal has molded, orange flowers on either side. The lower terminal has a molded orange flower on one side and an orange bud on the other. There is a purple vine with two strawberries curled around the top of the handle. Two leaves molded in relief are on the body of the sauceboat under the handle.
