DescriptionPewter mug with straight tapered sides with a moulded rim, three incised lines below upper handle attachment, and a moulded flaring base band. Its scrolled handle is soldered to the body, has a simple grip at shoulder, and a bud terminal.Label TextMade for drinking serious amounts of tasty beverages like beer, mugs like this frequently show the effects of hard use and their often-corrosive contents. However well-preserved on the outside, the interior tells another story. This mug's bottom is extensively pitted and dinged, so much that the maker's mark is all but obliterated.
