DescriptionCarpet with geometric design is comprised of Sehnna knot; approximately 100 knots per square inch; two shoots of wefts after each row of knots. Ground colors: field-wine red(ox-blood), border-wine red. Pattern colors: dark blue, white, dark red, scarlet, light blue, dark brown. The field has an allover pattern of polygons, typical of the so-called "royal Bokhara" rugs. The inner border, the same on all four sides, is one of light and dark geometric devices; while the fringe borders are each different, one with a stylized tree-like design, the other with a polygon device, different in shape from one in field design.Construction History:
