DescriptionThe symmetrically-arranged design (mirror repeat) show infloriate leaves, medallions, palmettes, birds, masks, gazelles, and very late, misunderstood dragons. The border shows angular lanceolate leaves diagonally arranged between palmettes and rosettes. Ghiordes knots; about 77 knots per square inch; two shoots of wool wefts after each row of knots. Colors: Ground: field - red, border - gold (mustard); Pattern: white, black, yellow, gold, red, green, light blue, dark blue, and dark brown.Construction History
