DescriptionSugar dish and cover with raised, paneled oval urn-shaped body with concave shoulder and concave, stepped oval pedestal foot; tall, conforming concave lid with slightly domed platform and cast urn shaped finial soldered in place. Body and lid ornamented with wriggle-work concave swags and dots.Inscription(s)Engraved monogram "CDB" in foliate script on one side, framed by crossed leafy branches tied with ribbon.
