DescriptionSilver salver or teapot stand: Four molded stepped feet support a small circular salver or teapot stand with plain curved rim moulded stepped feet.Label TextThis diminutive three-footed waiter or salver marked by Edward Winslow of Boston probably was used as a stand for a chocolate, coffee-, or teapot. Without such protection, heat from these newly fashionable hot beverages would have damaged fine wood furniture. The name “Tyng” is engraved in script on the back of the salver.
