DescriptionSilver punch or lemon strainer with circular bowl with an applied moulding at the rim. Affixed to one side is a suspension hook with a tab-shaped handle set into it. The interior of the bowl is filled with a geometric pattern of circular piercings (of one size) created from overlayed eight-pointed stars of increasing size, all contained within an eight-petalled flower design.Label TextThough simple in function, silver strainers were airy, attractive, and reminiscent of the porringer.
