DescriptionSilver punch strainer: Shallow circular silver bowl with pierced center and applied gadrooned edge. Later tubular silver socket on one side, oriented horizontally to bowl, with long turned wooden handle (handle also later).Mark(s)Marked in relief in center of blow: 1) leopard's head crowned; 2) Gothic date letter, pierced through and now illegible [possibly "C" for 1758-59 or "L" for 1766-67]; 3) lion passant; and 4) script initial sponsor's mark, pierced through and now illegible.
