DescriptionSleeve ruffle of sheer cotton with one edge asymmetrically curved. Tambour embroidery with scattered sprigs and conventionalized flowers in openwork and buttonhole stitching; border of running vine with conventionalized flowers in varied openwork designs; scalloped edge with narrow lace edging.

Construction History:
1. 1770-1790: Initial Construction
2. Pre-1953: The wider end of the upper edge of the ruffle was cut down and folded under with large stitches in a probably polyester thread
3. March 30, 1955: Cleaned, Repaired, Restored by Ernest LoNano.
