The other row has blue vines and smaller green, brown, yellow, and pink leaves and flowers on a stippled background.Label TextThe 1830s and 1840s saw the blend of stripes and florals, popular in earlier decades, become more distinct. Alternating rows of lighter and darker grounds, each with their own floral motifs, were produced using roller printing techniques.ProvenancePrior to 1974, Grace Hartshorn Westerfield (Camden, ME); 1974, bequeathed to The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (Williamsburg, VA)1650-1675
