DescriptionSpill Vase: cylindrical concave base supports three paw feet that, in turn, support a cylindrical vase that rises to a double cordon and an everted slightly flared mouth. Traces of gilding at the base, on the feet, the cordon, and the top rim. The body is painted green, yellow brown, blue and pink in the round with a continuous mountainous riverscape with one Italianate-style building amidst trees and a grassy shore. Descended to Catharine Fitch Tucker [February 28,1879-August 22,1970] who gifted the piece to her neice, Joan Leonora Tucker Fowle [October 19, 1929-January 26, 2023], then it descended to Wendy Susan Tucker.
