DescriptionPlate: circular hard-paste porcelain plate with a broad rim; decorated in underglaze blue with a central motif of a very large peony and rock in the background and a small, bracketed fence, rocks, and tall, arching flowers in the foreground. The well is bordered by a double blue line. A cell-diaper border rings the sepia-edged rim. The foot is inset.Firing pinholes and spots of light wear around well.Label TextThis Chinese export porcelain plate is decorated in underglaze blue and features a very large peony and rock dwarfing the bracketed fence, rocks, and tall, arching flowers in the foreground.
