DescriptionChinese export porcelain dish in the form of a clipped and scalloped rectangle with an oblong well. Decorated in underglaze blue with a central scene of a vase filled with auspicious tokens and bracketted by rocks of fortune and peonies and other flowers. The cavetto is wrapped in a cell-diaper band interupted by four reserves containing peonies; the rim painted with a border of ruyi scroll-bracketed peonies with pearl and cell-diaper grounds. The underside is undecorated and the base is flat, very tan in color, and coarse.Label TextThis blue and white Chinese export porcelain dish features a vase of auspicious items to the left of a rock, also a symbol of good luck.
