DescriptionMug: barrel-shaped mug with reeded handle applied vertically to one side; the rim engraved with a star, swag and tassel border; the body engraved with three circular roundels, two containing masonic symbols and the third enclosing the cypher "RT" in overlapping flourishing script.Label TextBritish and American newspapers record the availability of masonic engraved glassware on both sides of the Atlantic in the 18th and 19th centuries.
