DescriptionNeedlework purse: 2 compartment, single fold purse embroidered with fine crewels in Hungarian point (flamestitch) in shaded orange-reds, purple-reds, golds, with black and dark-green; band across top (under flap) inscribed with initials RA and the date 1774 in fine cross-stitch; lined with changeable color (green warp, tan weft) camblet; originally bound all round with yellow-green wool tape.
