DescriptionDouble-handled, double-lipped slipcast sauceboat of lead-glazed red earthenware (Astbury-type): spreading foot conforming to body shape rises to double-lipped scalloped boat-shaped body with spout at each end; reeded ear-shaped, looped handle at each side; slip-cast pattern of six masks between beaded gadrooned border at top and ribbed or fluted band at base.
