DescriptionTea canister and cover: recessed stepped base rises to vertical rectangular body with molded shoulder and small cylindrical neck mounted with silver threaded band for domed silver cover. In panels formed by the sides are four chinoiserie scenes molded in counter relief: a man dressed in a long robe and a conical hat standing beside a tree; an exotic bird on a knarled tree; a man standing and another seated beneath a parosal and palm tree; and blossoms and a bird on a tree.1650-1675
