DescriptionStorage jar: salt-glazed stoneware jar of ovoid shape with ribbing at the mouth and ribbed lug handles applied to the high shoulder of either side of the body. The jar decorated with an incised floral motif below the impressed stamped name “ABBY , CROSS” both daubed with cobalt blue. The other side of the body stamped with the name of the potter “A. STATES” also daubed with cobalt. The handle terminals picked out in cobalt, as well.
