At the midpoint between the two handles and below the coggled decoration the vessel is stampled "4" in a circle to indicate four gallon capacity. Below the capacity mark are the stamps "MORGANTOWN" above "POTTERY". The coggled decoration depicts houses, trees, and a fence. The lug handles have molded applied geometric designs on the tops. The handle attachment points are highlighted with cobalt blue and there are a few random dots of cobalt on the side opposite the stamped marks.
