DescriptionCoffeepot: circular slightly spreading food supports the elongated pear-shaped body with rimmed domed lid topped by a ball knop with central steam hole; the molded ribbed spout of slight s-shape is opposite the extruded loop handle. The body dipped in yellow slip that is turned to reveal the foot and three bands of the cream-colored earthenware body beneath; the dipped portion decorated with splotchy manganese and the cream bands painted in blue with bands of scallops and demilunes and outlined ovals joined by single and double trifid shapes; the lid decorated ensuite with the body; the spout and handle painted sparingly with stylized blue lines.Inscription(s)NoneMark(s)NoneProvenanceIn April 2026 with Martyn Edgell (Peterborough, England) who exhibited it at the Pennsylvania Antiques Show (King of Prussia, Pennsylvania).
