DescriptionSoup plate: circular plate with broad rim, deep curved cavetto and no footring. Decorated over the glaze in black, turquoise, and green. The rim painted with a border of intertwined bands on a turquoise ground between a band and concentric lines of black enamel. The well printed in black with a harbor scene and hand-colored in green. In August 2016, sold by Northeast Auctions (Portsmouth, NH) to an unknown buyer. In 2019, sold by Jeffrey S. Evans to the donor (Wilmington, DE) who gave it to the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (Williamsburg, Virginia) where it remains to the present.
