DescriptionSilver sugar dish with lid: Stepped square base edged with milled banding of grape clusters and grape leaves on a meandering vine interspersed with branches of oak leaves and acorns supports an oblong body with twelve bulbous gadroons at bottom below the same banding. Top of body edged with narrow band of fine gadrooning. Top rim has slight saddle-shaped curve. Stepped lid rises to an urn finial. Two angular handles with scrolled lower junctures at sides of body.
