DescriptionSalt Cellar: Enamel on copper open salt dish of circular bellied form supported on three trifed feet with mask junctures; exterior of body and feet with turquoise ground and interior of body with white ground. Sides of salt decorated with three pastoral scenes of shepherd, sheep, and cows in shades of green, grey blue, brown, orange, and yellow on white reserves bordered by gilt scroll work; with gilt edging of feet; junctures of feet with gilt decorations of shell and scroll enclosing pattern of dotted diapering and stars.
