DescriptionAn eight-key bassoon with a maple body, brass keys, four brass ferrules, and iron pivots. The bell and boot joint are stamped with the maker's mark. The accompanying bocal is also brass. The top ferrule on the boot joint has a brass ring for a neck strap.Inscription(s)see "marks"Mark(s)Stamped on the boot and the bell "WOOD / LONDON" with a harp symbol.
