DescriptionTankard: cylindrical Chinese porcelain straight-sided mug or tankard with an entwined reeded strap handle anchored with blue floral terminals; the body is decorated with Masonic imagery: a moon and sun above Masonic devices flank a cloud, stars, and a gilt G in a sunburst between the Pillars of of Solomon's Temple on a tessellated ground. The gilt rim is banded in a gilt starred blue enamel above a gilt dotted iron-red thin band.ProvenanceMurray F. Nimmo
