DescriptionCorner, commode chair: Flat, semi-circular arm rail with flat scrolled ends surmounted by thick, shaped crest; incised line runs from ends of crest around outside edge of upper surface of arms; three shaped and rounded arm and back supports with pair of short, vase shaped splats between each mortised into a high, molded shoe; "square" seat set on an angle; deep skirt scrolled at bottom; four stubby cabriole legs each terminating in pad feet; front leg had carved arch and scroll motif at knee and incised hoof design on front of foot.
