DescriptionFeldspathic stoneware campagna shaped vase: circular stepped foot rises to short trunk that supports ogee-formed body with high neck and flared mouth. Brown dipped body and foot; engine-turned. White sprig decoration applied on top of the brown slip on the foot and body. The sprigs on the foot of outward pointing anthemia or palmette leaves. The lower portion of the body applied with three sprigs depicting classical figures. The upper portion of the body with three large sprigs of classical figures and putti, one sprig depicting the Great Seal, and several smaller sprigs of tufts of grass and small birds between the larger sprigs. The interior undecorated.
