Label TextSomewhat crudely executed sgraffito decoration in the form of alternating bird and floral motifs decorates the small four-handled cup. Dated 1792 on the interior, it was probably made in Somerset or North Devon. It is, however, similar in shape and decorative subject to pieces produced (some dated) in the 1830s at the Ewenny potteries in Wales.Inscription(s)"1792" on interiorMark(s)None
