DescriptionWoman's decorative apron of white ribbed silk embroidered with bright multicolor silks and couched cord forming large scale scrolling floral motifs covering the surface. The stitching is not worked solidly in all areas, but with fillings of cross hatching, herringbone, seed stitch, eyelets and other decorative fillings, all outlined with white couched cord. The skirt is pleated to narrow tape waistband.
