DescriptionChild's cap, finely knitted of white cotton in stockinette and fancy lace stitches, decorated with glass beading in a design that includes a polychromed floral and leaf border around the face in pinks, yellow, and gold, blues, and green. On the back crown there is a gold, beaded eight pointed star. The remainder of the cap has a lacy knitted pattern worked with clear beads so they become part of the pattern. The outside edges and bands are bordered by diagonally slanted rows of gold and white beads.No lining.ProvenancePurchased from, or ex coll. of Miss Osborne
