DescriptionInfant child's cap of fine white linen with hollie point insert at crown and back; on the crown are two birds facing each other amid flowering sprigs; on the back is a growing flower. Hollie point areas are bordered with a couched cord. The body of the cap is patterned with stripes of drawn work. At the face opening of the cap are two layers- one with stripes of drawnwork, the other plain, each with its own draw string. Bobbin lace trim on all edges.
