DescriptionTrundle bedstead: Four "square" legs, all four edges of which are chamfered at top and bottom; each leg houses a wooden wheel in a slot at the base; bowed headboard; four rails, rectangular in section with evenly spaced rope holes; each rail contains an incised line on the top, outside edge, and is chamfered on the bottom, inside edge; pair of vertical slats situated above side rails, each tapers from head to foot and is curved on upper corner at foot; covered all over with dark red paint, below which can be seen a lighter red paint or stain.Mark(s)None found.1790-1810
