DescriptionLarge press molded dish with serrations on flattened rim. center of interior impressed to suggest footring. Interior coated with dark brown slip then trailed with thick parallel lines of cream colored slip. Slip then combed into2 high frenguency wavy lines of fine zig zagged decoration separated by a straight band of zig zagged combed slip. All 3 bands appear to be on a ground of parallel lines (where the trailed slip was not combed). Interior glazed.ProvenanceOtto M. Wasserman1726 (dated)
