DescriptionTeapot of globular form. The C-shape handle and the S-shape spout molded of crabstock form. The handle with a tendril growing off it and onto the body with associated molded leaves and trailing vine, in addition to two diminutive lizards. The cover low domed (nearly flat) to conform to the globular shape. With twig handle bent in a rectilinear arch. The foot ring integral and created by turning the pot to remove a straight-sided portion from the underside. The ground glaze a smooth, cream-colored white. The teapot with over glaze enamel decoration, comprising a magenta ground, with the handles and spout painted in brown with the nodes picked out realistically in green.
