DescriptionSilver ladle: long, straight, down-turned fiddle handle with relief-stamped shell at tip on front and very small shoulders above an oval bowl slightly pointed at both ends (reshaped) with a rounded drop on back. Note: Ladle is an unusual size: larger than a sauce ladle but smaller than a soup ladle.Inscription(s)Engraved in sprigged script "SWP" along length of front of handle below shell.Mark(s)Marked in relief on back of handle "C.A. burnett" in a rectangle.
