DescriptionRectangular trunk with hinged arched-top lid; deal body covered with brown/black leather; brass nails outline top, front, and edge of lid with brass nails over strip of brown leather around top edge of case; brass bail handle with round rosettes in center of lid; rectangular iron lock with iron hasp and brass cover for keyhole in center of front; iron hinges of rear of trunk; Interior lined with uncut pages of "History of England" (including pp. 114, 126, 142, 143, some with header "ANNE" others with "HISTORY of ENGLAND"), overprinted with black dots. Printed paper label of J.H. Marklove inside lid. Linen tapes nailed inside case and lid on both ends.Mark(s)Inside lid is printed label: "J.H.
