DescriptionDouble-handled Urn: Unglazed square plinth with loop-band panels in counter relief on each side supports a spreading pedistal foot which rises to urn-shaped body, slightly compressed at shoulder; concave shoulder extends to a narrow neck with thick ring at rim; creamware body covered with surface agate / slip decoration red-brown, to yellow and dark brown in imitation of marble; pair of lead-glazed creamware strap handles surmounted with extruded rope-work loop from the shoulder to central body with female mask terminals. domed cover with spherical finial and long flange with same marbling as vase.
