DescriptionMug or Tankard: slip-cast cylindrical half-pint mug with molded ear-shaped handle applied opposite three-quarter portrait of George II within an oval reserve with a crown above flanked by two flying angels or cherubs; below the portrait within a rectangular reserve is “GOD · SAVE · THE · KING · / · AND · MY · MASTER ·”. The sides molded with various armorial roundels, the two largest for the Leveson-Gower and Vane/Fane families respectively, surrounded by other roundels to include exotic animals and birds.Inscription(s)Below the portrait of George II and within a rectangular reserve that is part of the slip-cast molding is “GOD · SAVE · THE · KING · / · AND · MY · MASTER ·”
