DescriptionCircular pewter plate with a concave rim edged by a single bead and a hammered well surrounded by an incised circle.Mark(s)Spread eagle facing right with a cloud of thirteen stars surrounding its head, with WILLIAM above and DANFORTH below, against a matted ground. All in relief within a "figure 8" shape, struck twice (Laughlin-392). Both marks are worn and incomplete.
