DescriptionBugg Jug: squat jug of cylindrical shape with sloping shoulder rising to single reeded neck; applied strap handle attaches to neck and high shoulder; flat wire-trimmed base.Label TextThis rare form referred to as a “buggy” jug seems to be mainly associated with southern pottery. This example is one of three Crawford County, Georgia, examples currently known. The squat shape kept the jug from tipping easily.
