DescriptionA mock quilted or loom quilted waistcoat with sleeves, cylinder printed with two tone blue stripes and black sprigs. The waistcoat’s sleeves and back are a single layer with all the raw edges turned and finished. The proper right sleeves has an illegible ink mark and the center back skirt has a small “VIII.” worked in red silk. The pockets both function and have white linen pocket bags. The waistcoat was printed with a two tone blue stripe first and then printed with the small black sprig. The center back of the waistcoat laps left over right as comonly found on mens coats.
