Body of beaker with two sets of six engraved lines, each set to give the appearance of five applied bands encircling upper and lower bodyLabel TextCharles Alexander Burnett trained as a silversmith in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and worked briefly in Alexandria before permanently re-locating to Georgetown, District of Columbia. He was one of the most prolific silversmiths in the new national capital, producing and retailing a wide range of forms.
