Label TextThis unusual breech-loading pistol was made by a British provincial gunmaker known to have emigrated to the colonies before the mid-18th century. The Annely family was working in and around NYC between 1748 and 1800, and produced muskets and other firearms for the rebellious colonies during the Revolutionary War.
