DescriptionDram or firing glass: pointed rounded funnel bowl with vertical slightly spiraling ribbing from bottom to mid-way up the side of the bowl. The rim engraved in block letters in the round, "THE KING & THE FRIENDS OF HIS MAJESTYS AMERICAN / LOYALISTS" with traces of gilding remaining in letters. Bowl on a short (1 1/2" tall) cylindrical stem, slightly narrower in the middle. Opaque white glaze column inside 4 single-ply spiral twists, also white. Heavy and thick (5/16" tall) firing foot.
