DescriptionUtility table: rectangular top of two boards secured by three cleats (revealed by shrinkage of two boards) and a batten at each end; straight skirt on all sides with an ovolo molded bottom outer edge; drawer at front with two original wooden knobs, squared at top and base and tapering inward toward middle; four legs, each with five ovoid or sausage turnings of equal size; one stretcher at each side of base with ovolo molding at lower, bottom, outer edge; four feet originally in a flattened ball shape (back right foot most complete); top nailed to frame with four old and possibly original forged nails as well as two modern screws; skirt tenoned into legs and secured with wooden pins; traces of original red paint over much of surface as well as traces of later coats of green and cream oil base paint.

Woods: Primary: Yellow pine top and skirt; maple legs. Secondary: pine drawer runners, drawer front and lining.
