DescriptionCircular plate with scalloped and molded rim, the edge painted in dark blue and gold with a chain of peacock feather eyes between two gilt lines, one following the edge of the plate and the other the interior rim before the cavetto. The well painted with the arms of the Wigley family of Shakenhurst surrounded by a gold and blue band of concentric circles including an interior scalloped band, gold laurel border on a blue ground between two gold lines, and gold dots, all surrounded by two crossed sprigs of laurel and wheat.Mark(s)Marked in underglaze blue: "Flight" in script above a crescent.
