DescriptionDecanter and stopper: Body A: flared mallet form; flat, slightly flared lip, ground inside; cylindrical neck flaring to body; slightly concave polished bottom. Engraving: suspended from a chain, "Port" within a cartouche consisting of a thick border line with a thin line inside at the top and bottom of the carouche, inside which is a thin line ending in points at the top and bottom. Design surrounding the cartouche: flowers at the top, small flowers and leaves on the side, grapes surrounded by leaves and vines on the bottom.
Stopper B: flat vertical disk with edges cut in triangular faceting, the sides cut with diamond faceting; tapered ground plug.
