DescriptionRundlet or barrel: barrel-shaped body with broad trimmed waist slightly tapering at each end, the waist trimmed between two sets of eleven ridges, the ends trimmed and inset. A rectangular chamfered bunghole surrounds the circular opening at the center of the waist. Painted in high temperature colors of orange, yellow, brown, green, and blue with a leafy vine running the circumference of the waist only interrupted by the blue painted bunghole, and alternating colors on each set of ridges. One end is painted with a central flower cluster within a geometric border. The other end is painted with a circular garden gate between two fence sections on tufts of grass; the name “Margaret / Lewis” painted in brown script above the gate and between two upward climbing laurel vines.Inscription(s)The name “Margaret / Lewis” painted in brown script on one end.
