DescriptionMug: lead-glazed earthenware (pearlware) barrel-shaped pint mug with recessed lathe trimmed foot; extruded plain loop handle applied opposite a central yellow bordered oval reserve painted over the glaze with a rider mounted on a horse between two other horses, all standing on a brown horizon, the lower quarter of the reserve painted green to resemble grass; wispy clouds painted at the top of the reserve; below the clouds and above the horses is “Filley” in fancy script and “Dealer in Horfes”, both inscriptions painted in brown.
